A Huntsville native, Dr. AJ is proud to continue his family’s legacy of exceptional dental care. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama and his dental degree from UAB School of Dentistry, followed by a General Practice Residency at UAB Hospital.
He and his wife, Courtney, spent some time in Connecticut for her family medicine residency before returning to Huntsville with their two daughters and three dogs. At the start of 2025, Dr. AJ became the sole owner of Balmoral Dental Center and is committed to maintaining the practice’s tradition of patient-focused, high-quality care.
Outside the office, Dr. AJ enjoys spending time with his family, grilling, and attending as many Dave Matthews Band concerts as possible.

Dr. Angie has been a trusted dental provider in Huntsville for over 30 years. She grew up in her parents’ dental lab, gaining early exposure to the field, and earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama before graduating from UAB School of Dentistry in 1990.
She founded Balmoral Dental Center with a goal of providing patients with high-quality care in a welcoming environment. Over the years, Dr. Angie has pursued advanced training in implants, braces, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry.
Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Raymond, and their daughter, Victoria, as well as traveling and attending sporting events.
Generations of families have trusted Dr. Angie for their dental care, and she continues to provide exceptional service to the community.
Originally from Huntsville, Dr. Larsen discovered her passion for dentistry while volunteering at a dental clinic during her time at Vanderbilt University. She earned her dental degree from UAB School of Dentistry and completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at NYU-Langone. After practicing in Tennessee for some time, Dr. Larsen returned to Alabama to be close to family.
Dr. Larsen enjoys combining the science and artistry of dentistry to help patients feel confident and comfortable with their smiles. She is thrilled to be part of the Balmoral Dental Center team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with her patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Larsen enjoys exploring hiking trails, crafting, and attending live music events with her husband, Alex, and their Australian Shepherd, Rosie.
